This philanthropic program provides a one of a kind opportunity to bring the Technology Student Association to middle and high schools where money to pay for membership dues poses a challenge. Through the Champion Fund approved schools are allocated payment for their TSA chapter membership dues for one school year. During that time the recipient can experience what the Technology Student Association has to offer including leadership opportunities, competitive events, and chapter activities. Submitted applications are reviewed by a committee to determine eligibility and are processed on a first come/first served basis depending upon available funding. Schools receiving financial support from the Champion Fund are kept anonymous.
The Champion Fund is made available from monetary donations from individuals, schools, communities, foundations and/or businesses to provide membership funds to schools that qualify. Eligibility categories are as follows:
1) schools where there has never been a TSA chapter before and there is no
financial support from the community or school to pay for membership;
2) schools where there has not been a TSA chapter in the last five years and there is no financial support from the community or school to pay for membership;
3) schools that are experiencing an economic hardship (such as a natural disaster) and need assistance with membership dues.
Please consider donating to the Champion Fund. Your contribution will help keep this important fund replenished. Tax deductible donations may be made by individuals (such as members, officers, advisors, alumni, or parents), local chapters, state delegations, schools, communities, businesses, or any other individual or group. Donors will receive an electronic receipt. If requested, a Champion Fund lapel pin will be provided for each $25.00 donation (one pin/$25 donation).
