Hello TSA! My name is Pratyusha Gupta and I am proud to be serving as your National TSA President. I live in Dover, Delaware and have been in TSA since the seventh grade. I can’t believe that this is my sixth year! This organization has been such an integral part of my life that I can’t imagine a summer without a national TSA conference or a school year without my chapter. My favorite competitions throughout the year are Webmaster, Career Comparisons and Future Technology Teacher. Future Technology Teacher has definitely been a life-changing experience; it has given me a greater understanding of my teachers and the hard work they put forth. Aside from competitions, I really enjoy digital design. I enjoy tinkering on Photoshop and Illustrator. I also love to read, play videogames, and play my favorite classical composers on the piano. And a fun fact about me is that I can’t consume anything with caffeine after 6pm or else I will be up all night! I’ll need all that energy though, as the team prepares for a fantastic year. I am very excited to have the chance to serve National TSA on this team.

TSA is off to a great start! I, Austin Vest, am honored to represent you, the members, at the national level as your 2011-2012 National TSA Vice President. I attend Fannin County High school in Blue Ridge, Georgia, but every day I cross the Georgia/Tennessee state line to get home; so I guess you can consider me a Georgian and also a Tennessean. I have been a member of this amazing student organization for six incredible years. In the past, I have served as Georgia TSA state 2nd Vice President, state Treasurer, state President and now I serve as your National TSA Vice President and the Georgia TSA National officer liaison. TSA has provided me with many leadership opportunities, whereby I have strengthened my communication and teamwork skills. Through TSA I have competed in many events, such as Systems Control Technology, Graphic Design and Chapter Team which is my personal favorite. I look forward to serving National TSA to the best of my ability through membership recruitment and also working on our national community service project. In my spare time I enjoy water sports, riding horses, singing and playing any musical instruments. My future plans are to attend a university near Washington D.C. to obtain a degree in political science. Thank you for electing me as the National TSA Vice President for the upcoming year.

Hi National TSA! My name is Ashlee Shryock and I have the honor of serving as your 2011-2012 National TSA Secretary. I am from Shattuck Oklahoma where I will be starting my fifth year as a TSA member in the Shattuck High School TSA Chapter. I have served in the roles of both chapter and state officer, most recently as the Oklahoma TSA State President. I am so excited for this upcoming year and would like to thank all of you for giving me this amazing opportunity. One of my favorite TSA competitions is Fashion Design and I am obsessed with vanilla cream cokes from Sonic!

Hello National TSA! My name is Chip Bollendonk, and I’m thrilled to serve another year on the national TSA officer team; this year I’m the 2011-2012 National TSA Treasurer. I’ve been participating in TSA since 6th grade in Littleton, Colorado, favoring speaking events like Extemporaneous Speech and Career Comparisons, in addition to Dragster Design. I’m a senior at Littleton High School where I am the Student Body President, a member of National Honor Society, and of course, belong toTSA! Running is another passion, and I compete in Cross Country and Track at my school. Outside of these activities, I love to play guitar (and mandolin and harmonica), ride my bike, eat ice cream, and geocach. I’m extremely enthusiastic about serving another year for TSA, and know that this will be a great one.

Greetings! My name is Marie Sabillo, the 2011-2012 National TSA Reporter. I currently attend Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School as a senior. In addition to TSA, I am a member of Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology (BEST) Robotics and SkillsUSA. I hold the title of the school’s yearbook editor; and when any faculty, staff or student needs help, I am always pleased to do so. Our school has a powerful basketball team in which I help by recording the players’ stats and keeping the books.  My involvement in TSA started during my eighth grade year. In high school I have held the offices of TSA Chapter Secretary and Alabama TSA Secretary. The competitions I have competed in have ranged from Promotional Graphics to Architectural Model to Video Production and assisting with Fashion Design, Essays on Technology, and many more. The Technology Student Association is a wonderful organization and I am proud to serve as the National TSA Reporter. I assure you that this year’s National TSA Officer Team is remarkable. We are passionate about TSA and will not let the organization down. It is my hope that this organization continues to grow and touch the hearts of many.  

Jason Dreyzehner

Hi, I’m Jason Dreyzehner and I am a senior at Abingdon High School in Abingdon, Virginia, currently serving as your National TSA Sergeant-At-Arms. I have enjoyed five years of membership in TSA, competing in more than half of our competitive events, with particular interest in information and biotechnology challenges. Along with TSA, I enjoy playing soccer, running, swimming competitively, and singing opera. I am also an active Eagle Scout and Venturer, serving a leadership role in the Southern Virginia Region Venturing. In my free time, I develop digital creations mostly for TSA or other non profits and occasionally as a business. "I'm extremely excited to serve this year on the national TSA officer team as Sergeant-At-Arms. TSA has certainly been the highlight of my education, and for my final year of high school, this is my calling."
