AEOP (Army Education Outreach Program)

AEOP funding supports the Junior Solar Sprint solar car competition for 5th through 8th grade students and the UNITE program. UNITE is a pre-collegiate, academic summer program for high school students from groups historically underrepresented and underserved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).  

American Cancer Society

TSA chapters around the country raise money during the school year to help fund the vital research, education, advocacy, and patient services of the American Cancer Society, TSA’s National Service Project partner.

The Verizon Foundation

Funds the Verizon Innovative App Challenge administered by TSA.  Middle and high school student teams develop a mobile app concept incorporating STEM that is designed to provide a solution to an issue in their school or community.

Rockwell Collins
Provides funding for TEAMS, an annual STEM competition providing students in middle schools and high schools the opportunity to discover their potential for engineering careers.


Supports leadership opportunities for TSA members as well as the TSA national officer program.

ITEEA (International Technology and Engineering Educators Association)

ITEEA provides support for TSA through its network of professional educators. Engineering byDesign (ITEEA’s K-12 engineering curriculum) supports the TEAMS competition by providing the framework for the national TEAMS competition.

Innovation First (VEX Robotics)

The TSA VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) and the TSA VEX IQ Challenge (VEX IQ) each provide students with a hands-on, co-curricular competition for learning about STEM.

PLTW (Project Lead The Way)

Middle and high school PLTW students can join TSA to participate in a career and technical student organization (CTSO) focused solely on STEM competitions and leadership. TSA competitions correlate to the PLTW curriculum.

PITSCO Education

Each year, PISTCO sponsors the popular Dragster Design and Dragster Design Challenge competition at the annual national TSA conference as well as several state TSA conferences around the country.

U.S. Department of Education

TSA is one of nine Career and Technical Student Organizations recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
